I searched Wikipedia for "Jacob's Fruit" since I wanted to see what it looked like; there were no results. Next, I "googled" Jacob's fruit: the first result was your blog, so I don't believe it exists.
I can certainly notice an improvement in your writing, though! Methinks you've been reading a lot :).
I searched for Jacob's Fruit as well and didn't find anything mentioning it except your blog...
I only searched it after my dad brought one home which was a gift from an agricultural engineer. The AE told him it was the rarest fruit in the world and that it only grows from one tree here, in Al Kanater, Egypt
Dunno if this is true but the fruit was delicious nonetheless and a very daring experience to "dig in" because of it's odd looks :D
